The
term  refers
to both fresh and dry fruit. Kashmir produces 
'apples', 
'pears', 
'cherries, and 
'almonds' in abundance. These form one of the main exports of Kashmir.
During the fruit season (July-September), fruit is sold all over Kashmir,
from stalls, from boats, and from small baskets on street corners. |
