Shaheed Sepoy Virinder Kumar 

Aid for martyr's family

FARIDABAD: Sepoy Virinder Kumar of 17 Jat Regiment hailing from Mohna village, near here, was killed while fighting against the Pakistani intruders in the Mushkoh valley during the successful capturing of the Tiger Hill. 

He is the third martyr belonging to the district. Sepoy Virinder Kumar (22) is survived by his parents and seven brothers. According to a message received from the Army his body will reach Mohna tomorrow. Meanwhile, people from far and near today attended the "terahvi" of martyr Har Prasad at Faridpur village, near here.

Cash, bank drafts and cheques for more than 1.75 lakh were presented to the family of Sepoy Har Prasad by Mr Jagdish Nayar, Minister; Mr Krishna Pal, MLA; Mr Mahendra Pratap, a former minister; by Modern Vidyaniketan and various other organisations and individuals.
