Technical Qualification

• One year Diploma in Computer Hardware and Communication Fundamentals from CATALOG Hardware Institute, Jammu.

• One year Diploma in Computer Software Applications from Nehru Yuva Kandra, Govt. of India.

• One year Diploma in Multilingual D.T.P. in Hindi, Kashmiri, Urdu, Sanskrit and English from NCPUL, Govt. ofIndia.

Present Job Profile

• Working as D.T.P operator in IILS D.T.P CENTER, Muthi, Jammu since 2000.

Job Responsibility

• Composing and D.T.P making copies of Text Books, Literature Books, Magazines etc., in Kashmiri (Nastaleeq & Devnagri), Urdu, Hindi, Sanskrit and English.

• The assignments are from CIIL Mysore, NRLC Patiala, NCPUL Delhi, Sahitya Acadmei Delhi, AIKS Delhi, Nagrad Adbi Sangam Jammu, Sampriti Jammu etc.

Working on Software:

• Inpages Urdu, Page-maker, Photoshop, Corel-draw, Ms-office, Leap-office, Arnimaal (Kashmiri Software), Akruti Engine (Kashmiri software) etc.

Other Information

Rinku Koul has compiled about 300 hundred books comprising different languages, especially Kashmiri. The writers of the books designed and compiled by Rinku Koul have received awards from the J&K state and Sahitya Acadmi, Delhi too e.g. Hindustani Afsana (Dr. Roop Krishen Bhat, Sahitya Acadmi),   Lal Maani Nazri (Bimla Raina., J&K State), Arzath (Dr. B.L. Koul, J&K State), Tshen (Dr. R.L. Shant, UP Govt.) etc.

Rinku is the only DTP operator in the state which is doing the work of compiling of books / journals in the four different languages, especially the Devnagri script.

Rinku's short stories have been published in the following journals:

Rinku has attended workshops for making the Kashmiri Devnagari Literature which was organized by the NRLC, Pataila in collaboration with Sampriti Jammu. The books were Koshur Premier and Koshur Reader. He has also attended many workshops for compiling the books which were organized byCIIL Mysore, NRLC Patiala, NCPUL Delhi etc. Additionally, he has delivered many lecturers on the Devnagri Kashmiri Script Typing on Computer. The functions were organized by the NRLC Patila in Muthi and Purkhoo MigrantCamp Schools for its promotion and ease to use and also for its awareness to the young school going children’s especially Migrant children’s.  

Publication

Recently published a Kashmiri short story book titled “Molil Rishti” which was released in a function organized by the NRLC Patiala and Migrant Camp School, Purkhoo in 10 of December 2010. The book was released by the Former Director of Central Institute of Indian Languages, Mysore . The dais was shared by Dr. Roop Krishen Bhat, J.N. Sagar, J. L. Saroor, P. N. Shad, Moti Lal Musroof etc.

The foreword of the book is written by Dr. O N Koul (former Director of CIIL,Mysore)and Sh. Makhan Lal Pandita (A leading short story writer in Kashmiri Language).  

The book contains 17 short stories. According to Dr. O. N Koul: “The titles of the stories are new and few characters of the stories looks like that they are seen surrounded by us. The stories are written with simple day-to-day language.
