Meeting with his Holiness Sri Sri Ravi Shankar on Aug 27th in Washington D.C.

KOA delegation comprising of nine members met with his Holiness Sri Sri Ravi Shankar. The topics of discussion ranged from- the need for having a Spiritual Centre dedicated to the study and teaching of Kashmiri Shivaism in the valley, world peace to KOA’s commitment to improving the lives of our community who live in the camps. Opening a vocational centre in the camps of Muthi and Jagati to give opportunities to those who have been left behind was brought up by the members of the delegation.
It was at this meeting that Gurudev invited KOA to participate in the World Cultural Festival.

We presented a pashmina shawl (personal present) and picture of Ragyna Devi of Tulmul to him.
